FAQs

Is there a grip sock policy?

To keep our Reformer Pilates classes safe and sanitary, we do require grip socks. These socks help you stay stable and avoid slips while you’re mastering those moves, no one wants to take a tumble! Plus, they help keep you and our studio clean by reducing direct contact with the equipment, making it easier to sanitize between classes. If you don’t have a pair yet, don’t worry they’re available for purchase right here in the studio. Thanks for helping us keep the vibe safe and squeaky clean!

How does the waitlist work?

If a class is full, don’t worry, you can join the waitlist! Here’s how it works: when you add yourself to the waitlist and someone cancels, you’ll be added to the class based on the order you joined the list. You’ll receive a notification via email or text, depending on what you selected when you created your profile. You can also edit your notification preferences in your app settings or on our website.

Just a heads-up: you’ll only get into the class if someone cancels at least two hours before it starts. After that, the waitlist closes, and it becomes first come, first served to ensure you have enough time to get to class.

If you do get added from the waitlist and then need to cancel, please remember that our late cancellation fee will apply. And if you no-show for the class you joined, you’ll face the no-show fee and lose that credit. So, if you’re unsure about making it, it’s best to think twice before joining the waitlist. Thanks for your understanding, and we hope to see you in class soon!

What’s the deal with the 5-minute grace period, and why do first-timers need to arrive 10 minutes early?

We’re all about creating the best possible vibe for everyone in the room. That’s why we enforce a 5-minute grace period for all classes. After those first few minutes, we’re in a groove that’s just too good to disrupt. Arriving late not only throws off your own flow, but it can break the rhythm for your classmates, too.

If it’s your first time with us (yay!), we ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes early. Vital is unlike anything you’ve experienced before, and we want to get you properly introduced, set up, and feeling confident before class begins. This timing helps us keep things safe, respectful, and smooth for everyone involved. See you (on time) soon!

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, we want to make sure you get the most out of your classes, so we have a cancellation policy in place. If you need to cancel, just do so at least 24 hours before your class starts, no worries! If you cancel within 24 hours, there’s a $15 charge, but the good news is you’ll still keep your credit for future bookings. This way, you can easily reschedule and continue your Pilates journey. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to see you in class!

What is the difference between class packs, drop in’s, and memberships?

We’re excited to help you on your wellness journey, and we want to clarify the differences between our membership options and class packs or drop-ins.

With a membership, you get the perk of booking your classes up to 21 days in advance! This means you can plan out your month and secure your spot in your favorite classes ahead of time, giving you more flexibility and peace of mind.

On the other hand, if you’re using a class pack or dropping in, you can book your classes up to 7 days in advance. This option is great for those who prefer a more spontaneous approach or might not attend regularly.

Both options offer fantastic ways to enjoy our classes, so choose what fits your schedule best!

Do I need to take an intro class before I can sign up for any other class on the schedule?

No prior experience or prerequisites are required to join our classes! We offer an Intro to Vital Pilates class that is paced slower and focuses on foundational movements, making it a great option for beginners. However, it’s not necessary to start there you can book any class that fits your schedule. All of our instructors are skilled at providing in-the-moment modifications to ensure you get the most out of your experience, regardless of your level,

Why is there a 3 month commitment with memberships, what if I decide I need to cancel?

We’re thrilled you’re considering joining our community! We have a 3-month minimum commitment for memberships, and here’s why: it allows you to fully dive into your Pilates journey, plan your month ahead of time, and really start seeing those amazing results. With this commitment, you also get priority booking 21 days in advance so you can secure your favorite classes and make Pilates a consistent part of your routine.

By becoming a member, you’re joining an exclusive community of like-minded individuals who are just as passionate about wellness and fitness as you are! It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, motivate, and grow together.

And if life changes and you decide to cancel after the 3 months, it’s super easy—just reach out to us at info@vitalpilatesstudio.com, and we’ll be happy to assist you. We can’t wait to welcome you into the studio and support you on your Pilates journey!

Is there a no show policy?

We totally get that life can be unpredictable, but we want to remind you about our no-show policy. If you miss a class without giving us a heads-up, there’s a $20 fee, and you’ll lose your credit for that session. We want to make sure everyone gets the chance to join in and experience classes, so if you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as you can. Thanks for your understanding, and we can’t wait to see you in class!

Is there a weight limit for classes?

For your safety and the integrity of our equipment, we kindly ask that clients do not exceed 330 lbs when participating in Reformer Pilates classes. This helps us ensure a safe and supportive experience for everyone. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I use my phone or record during class?

We totally get wanting to capture the magic but full class recordings are a no-go. Short video clips and photos are welcome (and encouraged!) as long as they're quick and respectful. That said, phones should stay tucked away during class. It keeps the focus strong, the vibe high, and everyone fully present.
